Experience

While studying for my undergrad, I volunteered through Right to Read and taught ESL classes and tutoring. I have taught two years of migrant school and one year of bilingual education. I have also taught GED courses for Portland Community College. I have many years of experience and training in teaching social skills, behavior modication, multiple subjects, and Spanish. I have also studied music from the time I was 10 until college. I enjoy working with diverse learners. I have always enjoyed meeting and working with a variety of people. Tutoring is a wonderful way to grow as a person and a teacher while helping someone along their path to success. It's a win-win! I have been told that I am a very calm and patient person while teaching. I am highly flexible.
